Ruby White is a science teacher, vegan chef, and a community gardener. Ruby White is also a business owner. Her business is a Jazzy Greens, LLC, a community vegetable garden. She has done work over the past ten years to educate people on how to grow food on their own. She has raised over $100,000 for a farm-to-school program, as her work also helps youth gardeners and spreads the idea of food justice. Low income families often don’t have sufficient access to nutritious food, but she helps them with that.
Ruby White said people live in different ways from each other. She feels that all people should have access to good jobs around the community. Ruby also says that the best way for 7th graders to help solve cultural divides is to ask adults questions and make them answer honestly.
